Testimonials

Hi Chris,

Thank you for the RNI documentary - What memories!

Must dig out my RNI LP's etc and review my files and have a good look through my RNI 'Souvenir books' again. I have several hours of audio in my archive but only one piece of tape, as far as I can remember, where I had a request/dedication (for my school friends at the time) played on the station.

Thank you also for the name check - I am pleased to know my message reached you.

All the best and I hope to catch more of Steam Fair FM next year. Many congrats too to all concerned for the 50th GDSF!

Regards and 73's,

Albert

Hi Chris,

I just had to write to you to say just how much I enjoyed listening to Roger Day's final broadcast. The complete contrast in format after the MOA plugging major minor records, the change in jingles. And nice to hear the chatter of Roger Day again. Absolutely fabulous, I've listened to this recording 7 times I can't get enough of it. It's radio at it's best.

Keep up the good work of remembering this great era of radio.

Hi Chris, I just wanted to say how much I enjoy listening to your recordings of the pirates.

I have listened every week live and also on soundcloud for over 4 years.

They bring back happy memories of how radio was presented and should be presented. Keep up the good work and do. You have any documentaries or histories of the fort based stations.

Keep up the good work

I was at the 60's weekend on the North Yorkshire Moors Railway last weekend. You had an

information display in the Pickering station goods yard, on the Pirate radio stations of the 60's.

I was very interested in this information and display it was very well done,

with loads of history and information.

My local Pirate radio station was Caroline North, anchored off Ramsey Bay in the Isle of Man.

Many thanks
